Omarion "O" Miller is the first commitment of 2023, a stellar, strong, intelligent and competitive young receiver, starring at both North Caddo and for the Bootleggers 7 v 7 team. Catching every Boot scout's eye, 2023's standout Louisiana receiver posted 27.8 yards per catch as a freshman from just 29 receptions, finishing at 807 yards and 8 TDs through just 8 appearances.
Not too long after his electric sophomore campaign, "O" went nuclear at an LSU camp, right in front of former Head Coach Ed Orgeron and WRs Coach Mickey Joseph.
Miller's LSU offer stemmed from a ruthless, towering, animalistic, next level catch witnessed directly by former Tigers WRs Coach Mickey Joseph and Head Coach Ed Orgeron, both understanding the kind of special aerial abilities they had just witnessed.
Making sure Omarion would become the team's first 2023 commit, Mickey Joseph's strong ass offer made sure to seal Vivian's native son. Joseph could easily identify Miller's winning attributes, the same kind of "DB abuse" which led to many LHSAA defensive coordinators investing in Rogaine:
"O" is an aerial weapon who just scratched off his elite potential during 2020, holding many characteristics required of an elite SEC wide receiver: the necessary jump-ball skills, after-burning pace, line of scrimmage physicality, and above average stamina during route trajectories ...........but "O" was nowhere near finished:
2021 ushered the rapid rise of North Caddo's sentinel receiver, ultimately pulling down 20 touchdowns, 76 catches and 1,502 yards, featuring 6 performances over 100 yards (5 of which garnered 150+ yards or more), 8 outings averaging 19 yards per catch or higher, 7 appearances catching 7+ passes, 6 games scoring multiple touchdowns, plus "O" never failed to reach the end zone across the entire campaign's 12 games.
Simply put, "O" reeled in 28 touchdowns over his 20 North Caddo appearances, simultaneously totaling just under 2,500+ yards.....
Miller is a stout receiving prospect, perfect for LSU's wide receiving-focused class: elastic length, improving route running, unshakeable hands, and underrated physicality after the catch.....arriving just as Cortez Hankton's WRU room lose #1 WR Kayshon Boutte, 2019 National Champion Jaray Jenkins, and potentially Deion Smith via the transfer portal.
Luckily for LSU, "O" is a fully committed Tiger very early in his process. Unless sinister circumstances unfold, I have to feel this is a firm allegiance....one I can't envision ending.

Looks like a stalwart. They need to keep showing him the love, and actually motivate him to recruit some other talent that may be on the fence.
