AHMAD BREAUX
(DE, Ruston, LA)
(STATS UNAVAILABLE)
While committed to Duke, Ahmad Breaux nonetheless took a highly-anticipated visit to his home state school, LSU, expecting to check out the glorious scenes of Death Valley, meet with then-DL Coach Jamar Cain, and see the sights of campus.
What he didn't expect???
For Head Coach Brian Kelly to lead the charge himself, all as the Tigers rolled out the purple & gold carpet for Breaux.
After receiving an offer from LSU that Saturday, Breaux decommitted from Duke and verbally committed on March 5th of this year: in one visit, LSU were able to keep a top 20 edge man home.
Also a ripped track athlete, registering high marks for the shot put and discus (running a 4.85 40 yard dash, too), Breaux led Ruston's defense last season as they came narrowly short of a championship, falling in the state title game.
Robust yet pacey, thick but towering, at 6'3 250 Breaux is a physical specimen, a future Tiger I cannot wait to see within Head Trainer Jake Flint's development program.
Then, when deployed in 2024 alongside a variety of high octane Tiger DL, Breaux could be a high impact defensive lineman.
Surrounded by Tigers like Dashawn Womack, Quency Wiggins, Saivion Jones, Jaxon Howard, fellow 2024 freshmen De'Myrion Johnson and Dominick McKinley, etc upon etc, Breaux could form a major part of LSU's debutant defensive line depth by fall 2024.

Adept in coverage or penetrating & controlling the line of scrimmage, Aledo's elite linebacker Davhon Keys possesses the right traits for defensive coordinator Matt House's ideal linebacking corps.
Utilizing his track champion speed, coupled with some heavy duty tackling skills, and ever-improving play dissection or anticipation, Keys is an exhilarating prospect for LSU's defensive future.
In the footsteps of LSU linebacker greats Devin White, Patrick Queen, and Harold Perkins, Keys is also learning the running back position, rushing the ball well on offense when used mostly as a red zone finisher (166 yards, 13 TDs in 2022).
As we've seen over the years at LSU, when speed and fury are placed within the heart of our linebacking corps, often times championships are won.....and under Head Coach Brian Kelly's guidance, that outcome is all the more certain.
Think about this:
2024's roster will have inhumanely fast linebackers, headlined by Harold Perkins, but containing special debutant defenders that could play themselves into key early roles....Davhon Keys being chief among them thanks to his versatility.....
In fact, under 220 pounds and standing 6 feet tall, while holding the skills to play in the secondary, Keys could find himself as Matt House's secret weapon: carving out his own role as a hybrid safety / linebacker, perhaps.

Got to say, especially excited to have Zion as he is playing in Gainesville, Ga. That’s where this transplanted Tiger lives too. 💜💛
