Former Notre Dame running back Logan Diggs has committed to LSU, returning home to play college ball in his home state of Louisiana.
Hailing from Boutte, Louisiana, Diggs was a standout at Rummel High before eschewing Orgeron era LSU advances for Brian Kelly's Notre Dame, signing with the Irish in 2020.
Diggs racked up 822 rushing yards & 211 receiving yards last season alongside 6 total touchdowns, making a huge impression among the Notre Dame fanbase.
Once Diggs entered the portal, there was only one likely ending to this story: with a Louisiana kid back in the State of Football...walking the path to graduating as a champion.
In 2023, Diggs will have a far better chance of accomplishing that then anywhere else...especially South Bend.
Diggs ended his two seasons at Notre Dame with 1,052 rushing yards over 20 appearances & 8 starts, while also collecting 267 receiving yards & 3 aerial scores, including a 75 yard long catch and rumble.
Bringing elder experience & familiarity with Coach Kelly, Logan also arrives productive.....already LSU's second leading rusher on roster (behind only Noah Cain).
Could Diggs be the guy for LSU's stacked yet uncertain running back room???
Watch our show tonight to find out how we see Diggs fitting in at LSU.

This is a very exciting addition. Though we have significant talent in this room, we can not overlook the impact of either injury, academics, or inexperience which impact most of the returning RBs.
