Arriving from the Billy Napier-era Rajun Cajuns this past winter, Louisiana-native wide out Kyren Lacy joined the team of his dreams, fulfilling a lifelong aspiration to play for LSU.
Thanks to strong transfer portal recruiting from WR Guru / Recruiting Assistant Jordan Arcement, rekindling his long-standing relationship with Lacy, the Tigers' WR Room gained much needed experience via his addition.
Currently, LSU's transfer wide out is already making his time at LSU count, joining Gordon McKernan's NILSU project, bonding with LSU Legend & Super Bowl champion Leonard Fournette, and fitting in amongst a group of fellow Lafayette WR peers (Boutte, Bech & Nabers).
Joining the team with 668 yards, 62 Catches and 10 touchdowns across his first two college campaigns, Lacy is already second on the roster in career receiving TDs, third in yards, and could be a strong transfer pull from Kelly and Jordan Arcement when all is said and done.
During Spring practices, Lacy could be seen pulling off elite deep ball catches against one on one outside coverage, using tremendous moves to break defensive backs, sporting a pair of strong hands, backed by a range of hardnosed, Louisiana-ingrained skills, Kyren should be a vital contributor for LSU's 2022 receiving corps....although the battle for reps will be at its savage ultimate during fall camp.
A deep shot weapon & a tough grinder over the middle, Lacy will likely receive his share of opportunities to shine throughout LSU's upcoming schedule.

This guy assimilated very well, and knew he belonged. It’s helpful when a guy comes in confident.
