JAQUELIN ROY'S POWERHOUSE PROGRESS

On the cusp of his third year as a Tiger, building up to this career culmination, Jaquelin Roy is ready to wreak havoc in 2022.

Already destroying LSU's offensive linemen this spring, literally throwing a guard away like used trash last Saturday, Roy is lighting up LSU's spring practice field with merciless intensity.

Catching rare snaps as a freshman, Roy took advantage of every opportunity and became known as a Tiger DL King of the future.

In 2021, his snaps increased alongside his playmaking and production, but now entering his junior year....what will Jaquelin Roy have on tap for the SEC?

So far, witnessing his desolation along the front with my own eyes, Roy will now be led by a staff and utilized in formations or alignments which should unlock his elite potential.

With Matt House's 3-3-5 defense based around a versatile three man defensive tackle combination, Jaquelin Roy is already elevating his game;

Next to Maason Smith, Jacobian Guillory, Missouri transfer Mekhi Wingo, and freakish freshman Quency Wiggins, all athletically gifted and holding their own individual profiles, surrounded or flanked by edge rushers Ali Gaye, B.J Ojulari, Phillip Webb, Saivion Jones, Desmond Little, Zavier Carter, LSU's junior DT will have all eyes on his powerhouse development this year.

I will be totally shocked if this guy doesn’t wreck shit on every team he faces. He has it all, and now a great process.

150% Louis! He's ready to take over. He's going to be a playmaker and most of all, an influencer, allowing Maason, Mekhi and Quency to penetrate, although he can more than pass rush himself, too. Guillory is another more robust DT who will be charged more with clogging you'd think, but I saw some interesting formations out there.
