Today, the Athletic broke the news concerning LSU offensive lineman Garrett Dellinger's broken hand injury and now we know the sophomore guard / center won't be available on Saturday @ Auburn.
It's potentially a cruel blow for Brad Davis' O-line who were just starting to put the pieces together with the Week 2 reshuffling and Anthony Bradford's return for Week 4.
Now, one of LSU's most trusted offensive linemen will deal with a problematic broken hand injury for the rest of the season....throughout the SEC gauntlet....and that's if he's ever truly at 100%.
Yes, he is expected to return vs Tennessee, Dellinger is an iron man capable of playing on injuries such as a torn labrum from last season, however....who could replace him in the line up to bring solidity?
We think Xavier Hill should be given the nod, but according to one source within the team, Miles Frazier will be taking the role of left guard, the position he played during fall camp and week 1.
We'll be previewing LSU vs Auburn even more, check out our video from last night and the other articles posted if you want maximum Tiger content.

Boy it would have been nice to have multiple weeks with the same O Line group, but that’s college football.
Why would YOU A NON COACH JOURNALISTS contradict the LSU Coaches on who should replace the insured LSU O lineman. The staff knows the pros and cons of their players much better than an English Major non Coach. WE THINK THAT ___ should be the replacement but the Coaches think otherwise…Give me a break. Stick with being a flowery wordsmith.
