LSUOdyssey reports left guard Garrett Dellinger will likely miss Saturday's home opener vs Nicholls due to a concussion he suffered vs USC, according to 4 different sources around the program.
LSUOdyssey is told Tyree Adams is taking the bulk of first team reps at practice and is set to replace him, with Dellinger most likely being rested for the trip to South Carolina in 2 weeks.
Dellinger has an injury history at LSU, although those problems rarely kept him out of games (he once played with two injuries, a broken hand and torn Meniscus).
Expect his return for South Carolina.
